Edgewood runners garner weekly awards
Edgewood's Grant Mickesh and Annie Propson were named the Northern Athletics Conference Men's and Women's Cross Country Student-Athletes of the Week for events of October 3-9.
Mickesh (Chippewa Falls, Wis.) placed 10th of nearly 80 runners at the Lucian Rosa Invitational. The 5-10 junior posted the best 8K time of his career (27:11.3), besting his previous by nearly a full minute.
Propson (Rosendale, Wis.) finished eighth of over 90 runners in the women's 5K. The senior finished the race in 20:26.2.
