Wisconsin Lutheran College to host sixth annual Warrior 5k…through the park

MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- The annual Warrior 5k… through the park will be held at Greenfield Park in West Allis on Saturday, November 8 at 10 a.m.

This marks the sixth year of this race. It is designed to be a unique opportunity for running enthusiasts of all ages with a competitive cross country feel in late fall. Walkers are also encouraged to register for a 2.25 mile walk. One of the few 5k cross-country style races open to the public in Southeastern Wisconsin, the Warrior 5k is a fundraiser for the Wisconsin Lutheran College cross country teams.

Register online by November 6 at wlcsports.com, $14 individual and $48 per team. Day of the race registration will also be available from 8:45 - 9:45 a.m., $16 individual and $56 per team. The race will begin on the southwest corner of Greenfield Park in West Allis in front of Pavilion 3A. Parking is available in the adjacent parking lot.
