Leyden led Benedictine to the championship of its own Eagle Classic
tournament and was named to the all-tournament team. She had 20
kills in a NAC match at Wisconsin Lutheran College as BU clinched
the No. 4 seed for the NAC tournament, and followed that with a
25-kill effort in win versus CCIW power North Central College in
the Eagle Classic. She also had double-doubles in kills and digs in
four of five matches last week.

MSOE as the Muskies completed their NAC season with a perfect
record of 12-0.

Roessler reached the 1,000 career kill mark versus Maranatha
Baptist last week, recording 25 kills on 53 attempts for a .415
attack percentage. She then added 24 more kills against Wisconsin
Lutheran College on Saturday.

per match, a .347 hitting percentage and 23 total blocks, all-team
highs, to lead Wisconsin Lutheran to a 4-1 record this past week.
She also added 17 digs while playing in all 18 sets.

0.73 blocks and 0.55 aces per set played (11 total) on the week.
Leyden made just 12 attack errors in 124 attempts - including zero
errors in a sweep over Rockford College - on her way to a .355
attack average. Leyden had kill-digs double-doubles in each match,
as well. Among her top numbers on the week were 24 kills and seven
blocks versus Maranatha, as well as 25 digs versus Rockford.

In five matches on the week, Sowinski averaged 5.10 kills and 3.60
digs per set. The senior outside hitter had a 28 kill match in
MSOE's 3-2 victory over Viterbo University. MSOE finished the week
4-0 and won the MSOE Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 20.

Hut Classic. The rookie had double-doubles (kills/digs) in matches
against Elmhurst and Illinois Wesleyan. Her 11 kills led the team
in the match against No. 15 UW-Oshkosh.

Paskey earned all-tournament team honors at the Nike/Impact Sports
UW-Platteville Invitational after finishing the week with 33 kills
and an attack percentage of .113. She led the team with 15 total
blocks in a week that started with a win over Ripon College and
gained the Eagles their first 3-0 start since 1996.

Kammeier was named to the 2008 Star Classic All-Tournament Team
leading the Stars to a 1-3 record to open the 2008 campaign. The
sophomore outside hitter led the Stars to their first win over
Benedictine University, picked to finish second in the NAC
preseason coaches' poll, since the 2004 season. In that match,
Kammeier logged a team-high 18 kills with no hitting errors,
posting a .667 hitting percentage. Kammeier also tallied 12 digs as
the Stars picked up the win in 4 sets (25-22, 26-28, 25-19,
25-16).
