WATERTOWN, Wis. -- Long-time Head Volleyball Coach Marsha Jackson will step down from her coaching responsibilities after 19 years of service at Maranatha Baptist Bible College.
This past season, Jackson completed her first go-around in the newly formed Northern Athletics Conference with a 6-5 record, good for a sixth place finish. The Crusader women ended their season with a 21-13 overall record, as NCCAA Midwest Regional Champions, and with a 4th Place finish at the NCCAA National Tournament.
During her tenure, Coach Jackson has compiled an impressive 421 wins, numerous NCCAA regional and district titles along with five NCCAA National Championships, and two Lake Michigan Conference championships. Jackson will complete her duties as head coach during the 2007 summer camps in late July and early August, but will continue to influence the volleyball program at Maranatha.
Jackson has been asked by new Maranatha Head Coach, and longtime friend, Regina DeLozier to assist in the transition to the collegiate atmosphere. Jackson will continue her teaching responsibilities at Maranatha in the Math Education Department.
