Strehlow claims individual tournament title
MADISON, Wis. -- Wisconsin Lutheran's Kaitlyn Strehlow rode her perfect regular season conference record all the way to the 2011 Northern Athletics Conference Women's Tennis Individual Tournament title this weekend at Nielsen Tennis Stadium.
Concordia Wisconsin's Megan Harrington and Julie Spransy won the doubles tournament.
Strehlow did not lose a game in the final match versus CUW's Harrington, besting her opponent 6-0, 6-0 for the title. She won her four prior matches in the tournament in straight sets as well.
Harrington and Spransy battled Edgewood's Shae Beckwith and Laura Olsen in the final match of the doubles tournament, and won the eight-game pro set 9-7.
