Kriese breaks all-time NAC scoring record in Marian's victory
SHEBOYGAN, Wis. -- Kim Kriese (Stevens Point, Wis.) enjoyed a record-breaking day on Wednesday in Marian's 9-3 victory over Lakeland College. The senior midfielder broke the all-time scoring record in the Northern Athletics Conference and also tied the all-time goals scored record in the conference. Kriese scored three goals to give her 57 for her career, to go along with 135 career points. She broke Dominican's Mayra Camacho's scoring record and has now tied her in goals scored.

Spartans Named D3kicks.com All-Region
AURORA, Ill. -- The Aurora University Spartan Women's Soccer team finished the 2007 season as Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) regular season and tournament champions, their ninth conference title in the last 13 seasons, with a 19-3-1 overall record and 12-0 in the NAC. AU made a third consecutive trip and fifth in seven years to the NCAA Division III Championships. On the season, the Spartans out-scored their opponents 77 to 15 (23 games). The Spartans set school or tied records for wins (19), consecutive games with a goal scored (22), consecutive wins (19), team shutouts (12) and lowest goals against average (0.65).

Spartans drop heartbreaker to host Maroons in NCAA Tournament
CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Aurora University women’s soccer team ended their season with a 1-0 overtime loss to the University of Chicago on Saturday afternoon in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Championship. The loss ended a record breaking season for the Spartans, which saw them finish with an overall record of 19-3-1.
