WATERTOWN, Wis. -- Maranatha Baptist Bible College announces that Josh Caucutt is stepping down as head coach of the Maranatha men's and women's soccer teams.
Coach Caucutt has been the women's soccer coach at Maranatha since its inception, taking the team from club status in 1997 to the present day team of 2007-08. During his career, Caucutt compiled a record of 65-123-5 at the helm of Lady Crusaders. This past year, Caucutt and the Crusader women finished 7th in the Nation in the NCCAA National Tournament in Kissimmee, Florida.
As coach of the men's team since the 2004 season, Caucutt led the Crusader men to a 24-50-3 record. This past season, the team narrowly missed the opportunity to compete at the NCCAA National Tournament as they lost 4-3 in the Championship game.
Caucutt continues to work for Maranatha in the Development Office, but cites the desire to spend more time with his family for his departure from the athletic program. The vacated positions have yet to be filled.
The Athletic Department and student-athletes of Maranatha Baptist Bible College thank Coach Caucutt and his family for their dedication and sacrificial work in building and maintaining the soccer programs of Maranatha.
