MSOE Discontinues Women's Golf

MILWAUKEE -- Director of Athletics Dan Harris announced today that the MSOE Women's Golf program will be discontinued starting with the 2012 season.
The program was started in 1999 and was disbanded in 2009 due to lack of participation. The program was reinstated in 2010 under Head Coach Phil Plautz, but the program still was lacking student interest.
MSOE will continue to support 21 varsity sports, the most of any school in Milwaukee.
