Spartans' Densmore honored with women's golf weekly award

Aurora's Emily Densmore was named the Northern Athletics Conference Women's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week for events of September 5-11.

Densmore (Aurora, Ill./Waubonsie Valley) made up a three-shot deficit after round one and shot an 80 (+8) in the second round to win medalist honors at her team's host event. She carded a 166 two-round total for an 11-stroke advantage over the runner up.

The Spartans won the three-team event by over 100 strokes.
