Spartans lead at inaugural NAC Women's Golf Championship
BRISTOL, Ill. -- After day one of the 2006 Northern Athletics Conference women's golf championship, Aurora University leads by 29 strokes. The Spartans' score of 462 leads second place Lakeland College (491) and third place Wisconsin Lutheran College (497) at Blackberry Oaks Golf Course in Bristol, Illinois.

Oftedahl adds women's golf to duties at Edgewood College
MADISON, Wis. -- Edgewood College athletic director Al Brisack announced today that Gary Oftedahl, the Eagles' head men's golf coach since 2000, will add head women's golf coach to his title. Oftedahl was the 2005 Lake Michigan Conference Coach of the Year after leading the men's program to their first-ever league championship.
