WLC Receiving Votes In Latest D3hoops.com Poll

MILWAUKEE -- The Wisconsin Lutheran College women's basketball team is receiving votes in the latest D3hoops.com Top 25 poll, it was announced Monday as the website released its poll for week 8 of the 2012-2013 season. This is the first time since the first week of the 2011-2012 season, and the 12th time overall, that the Warriors have been mentioned in the 'others receiving votes' category of the poll.
The Warriors (14-2, 9-0 Northern Athletics Conference) received one vote along with Swarthmore and Otterbein in the 'others receiving votes' category of this week's poll. Wisconsin Lutheran's only two defeats this season have come against top-ranked DePauw (17-0) and 22nd-ranked Williams (15-2).
WLC looks to continue its winning ways when it hosts Rockford (5-13, 3-7 NAC) Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Recreation Complex. The game will be the first of three conference matchups for the Warriors this week.
The D3hoops.com Top 25 is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, sports information directors, and media members from across the country, and is published weekly.
