Becker's 30 And 20 Score Weekly Award

Marian's Alexis Becker has been named the Northern Athletics Conference Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for games of February 13-19.

Becker (North Fond du Lac, Wis.) averaged 25.0 points and 7.0 rebounds in a pair of contests last week for the Sabres (13-12, 9-9 NAC)

The senior forward fell three points shy of a career-high when she posted 30 points in the conference finale against Alverno, including 22 in the first half.

She followed it up with a 20-point performance in a narrow NAC Challenge Game loss to Benedictine. Becker shot over 58 percent from the field, including 5-for-6 from three-point range, and led the Sabres to their second straight NAC tournament appearance.
