Rickett Earns Women's Basketball Weekly Award

Concordia Chicago's Krystyna Rickett has been named the Northern Athletics Conference Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for games of December 5-11.

Rickett (Sandusky, Mich.) recorded her second double-double of the season with 23 points and 10 rebounds in a 63-59 win at Lakeland on Saturday. She scored the Cougars' (3-5, 2-3 NAC) last five points of the game, including the go-ahead hoop on a layup with 1:01 remaining.

Earlier in the week the senior guard scored 17 points in a 66-52 victory versus Benedictine. She also had five rebounds, three assists and a steal in the Tuesday win.
