Eagles, Falcons and Spartans Survive To Final Day
The Northern Athletics Conference softball tournament sent three of the six teams home as day two of the double-elimination tournament was concluded. Top-seeded Aurora, second-seeded Benedictine and fourth-seeded Concordia Wisconsin all survived for the final day of the event on Sunday at Alverno Field.

Constant rain has moved all of Friday's NAC softball tournament games to Saturday, while Saturday's originally scheduled games have been moved to Sunday.

Mahoney Tosses Perfect Game In Opening Day Of NAC Tourney
Dominican's Emily Mahoney threw the first perfect game and just the second no-hitter in Northern Athletics Conference tournament history as the opening day of the event saw a pair of 8-0 shutouts and a close 5-4 decision this afternoon at Alverno Field.

With a sweep of the visiting Lakeland College Muskies, the Aurora University spartans team captured the 2013 Northern Athletics Conference softball championship. AU defeated the Muskies 7-0 and 8-0 (6 innings) to claim the title.

Edgewood College is proud to announce the addition of five individuals to the Edgewood College Athletics Hall of Fame. Kristin Elliott (softball), Todd Franke (baseball), Travis Krahn (baseball), Jeff Ornes (men's soccer) and Dr. James Ebben (contributor) will be inducted into the Edgewood College Hall of Fame in a special end of the year awards banquet on Friday, April 19, 2013. Curtis appointed as head softball coach at WLC
MILWAUKEE -- Wisconsin Lutheran College Director of Athletics Skip Noon announced Tuesday that Bill Curtis has been named the head softball coach at WLC. Curtis, the ninth head coach in program history, takes over for Rachel Kuehl who stepped down May 2 after piloting the program for the past 10 seasons. Curtis will also serve in the college’s Institutional Advancement office.
