Schroder, Adcox Pick Up Weekly Awards

Concordia Wisconsin's Jannelle Schroder and Benedictine's Brittany Adcox were named the Northern Athletics Conference Position Player and Pitching Softball Student-Athletes of the Week for games of April 23-29.

Schroder (Germantown, Wis.) recorded a hit in five of the six games for the Falcons (24-14, 19-5 NAC) last week. The junior batted .615 (8-for-13) with eight RBIs and a pair of runs scored. She was 3-for-3 with a double in the extra-innings victory over Dominican on Saturday.

Adcox (Plainfield, Ill.) was 3-0 in the week in three appearances for the Eagles (30-9, 22-2 NAC), who won their third-straight league title. In 19 innings pitched the senior hurler allowed just two runs (one earned) and struck out 15 compared to just three walks allowed.
