MADISON, Wis. -- Edgewood College softball head coach J.P. Richards earned his 200th win on Sunday when the Eagles defeated Concordia University Chicago in game two of their doubleheader. Richards is Edgewood College's all-time leader in wins and is the first coach in program history to reach the 200 win milestone.

Since taking over at the helm of the Edgewood College softball program in 2003, Richards has a record of 200-189. He has led the Eagles to two conference championships, in 2005 and 2006, when the Eagles were members of the Lake Michigan Conference. Richards was named LMC Coach of the Year in both 2005 and 2006. Edgewood College has made the NCAA Division III Tournament twice in program history. Both appearances came under Richards in 2004 and 2005.
