Concordia Chicago's Merrell Davis and Danyale Worsham were named the Northern Athletics Conference Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week for events of March 26-April 1.
Davis (Milwaukee, Wis.) won three events at the Haydon Invitational at Chicago on Saturday. His winning marks were 10.92 seconds in the 100-merer dash, 22.02 in the 200-meter dash, and 7.15 meters in the long jump. The junior's mark in the long jump is a potential NCAA qualifying mark for the outdoor championships and just shy of his conference record of 7.16.
