MILWAUKEE -- The Concordia University Wisconsin men’s and
women's outdoor track and field teams captured the 2010 Northern
Athletics Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships this
weekend hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran College at Raabe Stadium.
This is the second-straight title for the Falcon men, and third
overall, and fourth straight title for the women.
CUW won the men's championship with a team score of 205, just 19
points better than runner-up and MSOE. The Falcons captured titles
in six events including the 400-meter dash, 10,000-meter run, 4x100
relay, high jump and javelin throw.
The CUW Falcon women had 11 top three finishers including titles
in the 5,000-meter run, the 3,000-meter steeplechase and the
javelin throw. CUW tallied 137 points to claim the women's
championship, edging out Aurora University (134) and Concordia
University Chicago (133).
