Dylan Roff, Benedictine University

The Rookie won three events at the Cougar Invitational hosted by
Concordia University Chicago. Roff won the 110 meter hurdles with a
time of 15.90 seconds, the 400 meter hurdles with a finish of 56.33
seconds, and the high jump at 5'10". The Eagles finished second at
the 11 team event.Other nominees: Pat McClendon (Concordia
University Chicago), Andrew Garvey (Edgewood College), Rick La
Fleur (Wisconsin Lutheran College).

Raelyn Tagai, Concordia University Chicago

Tagai won three events at the Cougar Invitational and also set two
new school records. She broke her previous 400 meter hurdles record
by 1.5 seconds as she finished with a time of 1:05.00. Her 16.34
seconds at the 100 meter hurdles was also good for a new school
record. She also set a new personal best at the long jump with a
finish of 16'0.5". Tagai scored 30 of team's 79 points as the team
finished third in the meet.

Brock Solveson, Concordia University Wisconsin
...Sophomore...Oconomowoc, Wis. ...
The Falcons competed at the Benedictine University Eagle Track and
Field Invitational this past Saturday. Solveson provided the CUW
highlight of the meet as he automatically qualified for the NCAA
Division III Outdoor Championships in the Javelin. The sophomore
won the event with a throw of 63.00 meters.Other nominees: Adrian
Kibiersza (Aurora University), Andrew Garvey (Edgewood College),
Matt Lindgren (Rockford College), Zach Shiels (Wisconsin Lutheran
College).
Women's Outdoor Tack & Field
Kimyenna Abron, Benedictine University
...Senior...Chicago, Ill. (Hyde Park)...
Abron won two events at the Benedictine University Eagle Track and
Field Invitational on Saturday. In the 100 meter dash, she was
clocked at 12.04 seconds, a NCAA Division III provisional
qualifying mark. In the 200 meter dash she also had a NCAA Division
III provisional qualifying mark to win the event at 24.84
seconds.

Adrian Kibiersza, Aurora University

At the Chicagoland Championships Kibiersza won the discus with a
throw of 48.32m, finished second in the shot put with a school
record throw of 15.77m and was 20th in the hammer throw with a
throw of 38.05m. He set NCAA provisional qualifying marks in both
the discus and shot put.Other nominees: Pat McClendon (Concordia
University Chicago), Dan Oryall (Edgewood College), Matt Lindgren
(Rockford College).

At the Chicagoland Championships Abron ran very strong NCAA
Division III provisional qualifying times in both the 100 and 200
meter events. In the 100 meters Abron posted a time of 12.03, and
in the 200 meters she posted a clocking of 24.79. Abron won the 100
meters and was second in the 200 with only a runner from Division I
DePaul University finishing ahead of her. Both of Abron's times
also shattered the Benedictine records in those events as well. The
previous 100 meter standard was 12.51, while the 200 meters was
26.31.

Mark Hering, Concordia University Wisconsin
...6'0...Sophomore...Jackson, Wis. (Kettle Moraine Lutheran)...
Hering competed in the decathlon at this weekend's Washington
University Invitational in St. Louis, placing third in the event
with a score of 5,873 points. With this point total Mark smashed
his own school record by over 600 points and was only 127 points
from the national provisional qualifying mark. Of the 10 events
completed, Haring placed first in two of them, the discus and the
1500 meter run.Other nominees: Tom Sroka (Aurora University), Zach
Bauknecht (Concordia University Wisconsin), Tony Hardin (Rockford
College), Rick LaFleur (Wisconsin Lutheran College).

Raelyn Tagai, Concordia University Chicago

Tagai scored 28 of team's 101 points at the North Park Viking
Invitational. Her win at 400 meter hurdles was .39 seconds shy of
her current school record time. She also had a second place finish
at the 100 meter hurdles (16.74 seconds) and the long jump
(14'8").
