MSOE women's track and field senior Emily Dieringer was named to the Capital One Academic All-District First Team selected by CoSIDA for District 6 in NCAA Division III. Dieringer is a biomedical engineering major with a 3.95 GPA.

Edgewood College track athlete Josh Williams will compete against some of the nation's best young runners tonight at the USA Track & Field Junior Nationals in Des Moines, Iowa. Williams is entered in the 5,000 meter run which will be broadcast live on the web at 8 p.m.

CUW duo to compete at NCAA Championships
Justin Simmons broke the CUW long jump record Friday night with a leap of 7.04 meters (23 feet-1.25 inches). His jump catapulted him from nowhere to ninth nationally in the event. Simmons will join teammate and Pentathlon contestant Brock Solveson in competition at the NCAA III Indoor Track and Field Championships in Greencastle, Ind., this weekend.

James Kluckhohn has been named as the new head coach for Benedictine University's track and field programs, for both men and women, replacing Jon Wolcott who recently retired after 18 seasons. Kluckhohn will also assist with the Eagles' cross country teams.
