Falcons go 3-for-3 in men's tennis titles

KOHLER, Wis. -- The Concordia Wisconsin (15-11) men's tennis team captured the 2011 Northern Athletics Conference Tournament Championship on Friday with a 5-1 win over MSOE, which secured the team a spot in the NCAA III Championship next week. The Falcons' Brian Tresedder then took the NAC individual championship on Sunday in the singles championship, and paired up with teammate Russell Johnson for the NAC doubles title, completing a 3-for-3 title run for the Falcons.

Tresedder defeated Dominican's Keven Amarantos 6-0, 6-1 in the singles final, and lost only one set in five matches to take the individual title.

In doubles action Tresedder and Johnson met their Falcon teammates in the doubles final, and defeated Pat Schramka and Skip Tuner 8-6 in the championship match.
