Dominican's Pamukov and Lani named to D3Kicks.com Team of the Week

RIVER FOREST, Ill. -- Dominican University's Plamen Pamukov (Addison, IL) and Jacqui Lani (Green Bay, WI) were named to the D3Kicks.com Men's and Women's Teams of the Week, respectively.

Pamukov, a 6'1" midfielder for the 10-1-0 men's program, tallied two goals and logged two assists as the Stars went a perfect 3-0-0 on the week. Pamukov scored the lone goal in the Stars' 1-0 win over Wisconsin Lutheran last Wednesday and then recorded an assist in a 3-1 win over Edgewood College in Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) play. Then in a 2-0 win over St. Norbert College in a Central Region match-up on Sunday, Pamukov scored one goal and assisted on the Stars' other score. To date, Pamukov has eight goals and seven assists for the 24th ranked Stars.

Lani, a 5'6" freshman goalkeeper, picked up her fourth and fifth shutouts of the season with a pair of shutout victories last week. On the week, Lani faced 22 shots and did not allow a single goal, recording nine saves. Lani has posted a 0.43 goals against average on the season thus far, allowing just four goals in over 830 minutes. On the season, Lani has logged 49 saves and posted 5 shutouts with a 6-2-2 overall record.
