Floyd's Career-High Scores Weekly Award
Concordia Chicago's Khirey Floyd has been named the Northern Athletics Conference Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for events of Feb. 11-17, as selected by the league's sports information directors.
Floyd (Oak Park, Ill.) scored a career-high 29 points in his final collegiate game, leading the Cougars (4-21, 4-12 NAC) to a season-ending victory against Wisconsin Lutheran last Tuesday. The senior forward shot 10-for-16, which included 4-for-5 from 3-point range, and added five steals on the defensive end.
