D3hoops.com Honors 6 NAC Players With All-Region Status
The Northern Athletics Conference had six men's and women's basketball players honored by D3hoops.com with All-Region recognition, the national news source announced Monday.
Three men's players made the All-Midwest region team, while three women's players were honored on the All-Central region team.
On the men's side NAC Player of the Year Luke Doedens of Concordia Wisconsin garnered second team honors, while Edgewood's Ben Wisniewski and Lakeland's Jake Schwarz earned third team honors.
For the women, NAC Player of the Year Carol Cayo of MSOE earned a second team tribute, and Dominican's Kayla Blom and Wisconsin Lutheran's Rachel Johnson garnered honors on the third team.
Players were nominated for these awards by the Sports Information Directors at the various schools, who also voted on the selections. There were 683 players nominated nationwide, a new high.
