Dear, Stodola Named Final Weekly Award Winners Of Season

Concordia Chicago's C.J. Dear and Wisconsin Lutheran's Josh Stodola have been named the Northern Athletics Conference Defensive and Offensive Football Student-Athletes of the Week for events of Nov. 5-11.

Dear's (St. Louis, Mo.) two interceptions helped the Cougars (10-0, 7-0 NAC) build a big first-half lead in the 62-26 victory over Maranatha in the regular-season finale. The senior defensive back returned his first pick 13 yards, and on the next drive, returned his second 34 yards for a touchdown.

Stodola (Denmark, Wis.) hauled in 10 receptions for 134 yards and a touchdown in the Warriors' final game on Saturday. The senior wide receiver's 64-yard touchdown catch was his 11th of the season, which set a single-season school-record for receiving touchdowns at Wisconsin Lutheran (7-3, 5-2 NAC).
