Borsellino Named AFCA All-American
Benedictine University Running Back John Borsellino today became just the fourth football player to earn NCAA Division III All-America status and the first since 1993 as the American Football Coaches Association recognized the junior as the all-purpose player on its All-America Team.

Rockford senior kicker and punter Anthony Beres has been selected to play in the third annual Tazón de Estrellas game in Puebla, Mexico. The matchup will feature the Stars & Stripes Team which is made up of NCAA Division III all-stars from across the United States.

Four named to IWS Preseason All-State Football Team
The online publication of Inside Wisconsin Sports has announced its Division III Preseason All-State Football Team, and four players from the Northern Athletics Conference were named to the team. Inside Wisconsin Sports' Division III Preseason All-State Team consists of players from all of Wisconsin's Division III football programs. The team was selected in May by a panel of IWS staff.

The Benedictine University Department of Athletics announced the hiring of Phil Kleckler as the football program's new linebacker coach and assistant strength and conditioning coach. Kleckler joins the staff after serving as the defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator at Occidental College in Los Angeles, Calif.
