Stuber named cross country coach at Alverno
MILWAUKEE --
Maria Stuber has been named head cross country coach
at Alverno College, Director of Athletics Brad Duckworth announced
today. Stuber becomes the third coach in the history of the program
which will begin its 10th season this fall.

Edgewood cross country teams
earn USTFCCCA academic honor
MADISON,
Wis. -- The Edgewood College men’s and women’s cross country teams
have been named All-Academic Teams by the United States Track and
Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The women’s team
earned a 3.64 grade point average, while the men recorded a 3.10
grade point average during the fall semester.

teams received all-academic honors, with both teams being recognized
as All-Academic teams by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country

Williams to compete at USA
Cross Country Championships
MADISON, Wis.
-- Edgewood College freshman runner Josh Williams will get the
opportunity to race against some of the nation's best young runners
at the 2010 USA Cross Country Championships. Williams will run the
Junior Men’s 8K race on Saturday, February 13 at Plantes Ferry
Recreation Park in Spokane, Washington.

Retires

Williams competes in NCAA
Men's Cross Country Championship
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Edgewood College freshman
Josh Williams became the first Eagle to run at the NCAA
Championships on Saturday at Highland Park Golf Course. Williams ran
27:34 and gained a ton of experience in his first national
championship race.

Edgewood College's Williams
qualifies for NCAA Championships
MADISON, Wis. -- Freshman Josh Williams became
the first Edgewood College men’s cross country runner to qualify for
the NCAA Cross Country Championships, when participants were
announced today. Williams was the seventh and final qualifier from
the Midwest Region and will run for a national title next Saturday
in Cleveland, Ohio.
