Aurora University announced that Lane Stahl, currently Assistant Baseball Coach (pitching coach), will be promoted to Head Baseball Coach for the university. Stahl takes over the reins of the successful Spartan program from Shaun Neitzel who resigned and was named Dean of Student Life for the university.

5 To Be Inducted Into Edgewood Athletics Hall Of Fame
Edgewood College is proud to announce the addition of five individuals to the Edgewood College Athletics Hall of Fame. Kristin Elliott (softball), Todd Franke (baseball), Travis Krahn (baseball), Jeff Ornes (men's soccer) and Dr. James Ebben (contributor) will be inducted into the Edgewood College Hall of Fame in a special end of the year awards banquet on Friday, April 19, 2013. Edgewood College inducts new members into to the Hall of Fame once every three years.

2011 NAC Baseball Tournament Preview
ROCKFORD, Ill. -- For hundreds of young men, this journey began in January. Young men from 12 schools battling for one of four prestigious spots in the 2011 Northern Athletics Conference Baseball Tournament. After 448 games, the conference’s top four teams have reached the tournament, with their sights now set on the NAC’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament. Beginning Friday, May 13, Concordia University Chicago, Aurora University, Concordia University Wisconsin, and Benedictine University will take the field at Road Ranger Stadium in Loves Park, Ill., in hopes of becoming the 2011 NAC Tournament Champion.

ROCKFORD, Ill. -- On Saturday, May 8, the Rockford College baseball team will be doing its part to fight a disease that affects millions of people each year. The Regents will be raising money to help bring awareness to the fight against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, when they host the Benedictine University Eagles at Road Ranger Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.

Novak becomes Lakeland's RBI leader
WATERTOWN, Wis. -- The Lakeland College baseball team swept Maranatha Baptist Bible College in a doubleheader on Saturday behind eight RBIs by senior catcher David Novak (Algoma, Wis.). Novak was 4-for-8 on the day, with eight RBIs and three runs scored. The eight RBIs gives Novak 108 RBIs for his career, making him the career leader in that category.
