Concordia Chicago's Dan Eichholzer and Wisconsin Lutheran's Alex Raver were named the Northern Athletics Conference Position Player and Pitching Baseball Student-Athletes of the Week for games of April 16-22.
Eichholzer (Elwood, Ill.) hit .611 (11-for-18) last week as the Cougars (25-8, 12-4 NAC) went 4-1. The junior outfielder had multiple hits in all five games as he scored six runs and added five RBIs. He stole a pair of bases and defensively was perfect in 14 chances.
Raver (Bartlett, Ill.) led the Warriors (8-24, 6-10 NAC) to an upset over 23rd-ranked Aurora on Saturday by tossing a complete game. The sophomore right-hander allowed just five hits, one run and struck out six compared to just two walks in the Warriors' 2-1 win.
