Turley named to D3hoops.com Team of the Week
RIVER FOREST, Ill. -- On Tuesday Dominican University's Marquis Turley (Grand Rapids, Mich.) was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week after tying the university and conference single-game scoring mark with a 45-point performance against Greenville College last Monday, January 4.

In tying the records, Turley, a 6-1 junior guard, came off the Stars' bench to go 15-of-22 from the field, including 7-of-10 from three-point range, and 8-of-9 from the foul line. He also added a team-high five assists in 30 minutes. Turley followed that with 31 points against Rose-Hulman.

For the week the Central Catholic High School alum averaged 38 points, 3.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals while shooting over 58 percent (25-of-43) from the floor, 68.8 percent (11-of-16) from the three-point arc and 78.9 percent (15-of-19) from the line.
