Dokey earns NSCAA All-Central Region honor
MADISON, Wis. -- Edgewood College men’s soccer player Jerrid Dokey earned the first All-Region award of his career this weekend. Dokey, a native of Green Bay, was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association All-Central Region Third Team after leading the Eagles in points and assists this season.

Dokey, a senior forward, tallied 10 goals and seven assists for 27 points despite missing two games due to injury late in the season. For his efforts, Dokey was named First Team All-Northern Athletics Conference for the second straight year. He finished his career seventh on the Edgewood College all-time list in both points (72) and goals (30).

Dokey was a standout in the classroom as well, earning ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American Second Team honors with a 3.76 grade point average in Biochemistry. He was also named to the Academic All-District 5 First Team honors for the second straight season.

Dokey was one of six Northern Athletics Conference men’s soccer players to receive All-Region recognition.
