Inaugural Lutheran Bowl to take place Saturday
MEQUON, Wis. -- Saturday, Oct. 25 is the date set for the first annual Lutheran Bowl featuring the football squads of Wisconsin Lutheran College and Concordia University Wisconsin. The winner of this 1:00pm showdown at Century Stadium on the Concordia Campus will be awarded the Luther Cup.

The Cup will be a traveling trophy, remaining in the victor’s possession until the Lutheran Bowl of the following year. “This is a special rivalry between two Lutheran colleges in close proximity and we have jointly chosen to create this award to promote spirited competition” stated Concordia University Wisconsin Director of Athletics Rob Barnhill. Both institutions are members of the Northern Athletics Conference which is in its inaugural football season.
