Chicago has named Alison Aguilar Haehnel as its head softball coach. Aguilar
Haehnel succeeds Katie Brennan and begins her duties with the program

College women’s basketball coach
MADISON, Wis. -- Tola Neils has announced her
resignation as Edgewood College’s head women’s basketball coach,
effective immediately. Neils compiled a 51-30 record in three
seasons at the helm, including a 40-14 record in the Northern
Athletics Conference.

Walker selected by Washington Nationals in 2009 Major League Draft

selected by the Washington Nationals this afternoon with the first

Italian all-star tour with championship
MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- Alverno College Basketball
Coach Brad Duckworth, along with sophomore standout Alicia Kontowski, represented the United States on a 10 day,
four game tour of Italy. The all-star team, consisting of players
from across the United States, was organized by American Sports
Tours International.

starter for the Concordia University Chicago baseball team, has signed a rookie
contract with the Schaumburg Flyers of the independent Northern League. Walker
will be in uniform beginning tonight for the Flyers' weekend road series against

Woman of the Year Award.
